On the morning of June 7, 2024, at Hall 310A, Building A1, the Banking Academy organized a National Scientific Conference on the theme “Application of Technology in the Finance and Banking Industry – Trends and In-depth Perspectives” under the chairmanship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huu Toan – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Academy Council.
The conference brought together representatives from ministries, central agencies, associations, research institutes, and universities to discuss the far-reaching impacts of technology on the Finance and Banking industry, creating a premise for a comprehensive digital transformation process.
As one of the nine papers presented at the conference, the report “Blockchain Technology and the Evolution of Decentralized Finance” by Mr. Do Ngoc Minh – Chairman of UBA, provided multi-dimensional perspectives and practical solutions for the application of technology in this field.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huu Toan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Banking Academy Council, acknowledged and highly appreciated the opinions presented, affirming that they are valuable resources for training, teaching, and scientific research, while proposing development solutions that are in line with the Party’s policies and the State’s laws.
The conference was a great success, creating a prominent mark in the training and scientific research activities of the Banking Academy, contributing to promoting the development of information technology in the Finance – Banking industry in Vietnam and around the world.
